Blackleg infection is caused by Clostridium chauvoei and is almost always associated with wound infection in cattle. Most cases occur in young stock between 10 months and two years of age. Feet or legs or the tongue are often the predilection site. Within 48 hours there is a high fever and if limb muscles are involved the animal become siff and unwilling to move. Skin discolouration, subcutaneous oedeme and gas production may be present and perneal oedema is sometimes seen. death usually follows a period of anorexia, profound depression and prostration.

The spores of Clostridium chauvoei survive well in the soil.

Vet-Powerlight BRL

Brucellosis is caused by the gram negative rods brucella. In bovine animals brucella leads to abortus. Transmission occurs by mating or perorally. Source of infections are miscarriages, placentas, milk, urine, excrements or nasal secretion. After a unconspicuous first phase, in the second half of the pregnancy cows may loose their calves. Tendonitis, arthritis, testicle inflamation may occur. In a cattle population bruvelliosis we see a plaque-like spread of this disease.

In humans bruceliosis is a highly contagious zoonosis, caused by ingestion of unpasteurized milk or undercooked meat from infected animals or close contact with their secretion.

Cattle get Vet-Powerlight BRL 30ml per day - on 6 consecutive days. Best rectal.

Conatgious bovine pleuropneumonia is a contagious bacterial disease of the cattle. The pathogen is the Mycoplasma mycoides, which is considered to be particularly dangerous. Incubation is up to over 200 days. Exhaustion, fever, shortness of breath, cough and nasal discharge. Partially high mortality. In calves joint inflammation, heart muscle inflammation and endocarditis.

Cattle get Vet-Powerlight CBP 30ml per day - on 8 consecutive days. Best rectal.

Mastitis is an inflammatory disease of cow´s udder as a result of different factors. In the milk we see a high cell count. Pathogens nearly allways are secondary after stressors lead to changes in tissue of the udder. Stressors lead to changes in the interstitial fluid, so that natural defence mechanism is suppressed. Vet-Powerlight MAS restores the natural conditions.

Application: 2 x per day 30 ml Vet-Powerlight MAS rectal.

Vet-Powerlight TBC

Mykobacterium bovis is a slow growing bacterium and the causative agent of tuberculosis in cattle.
